Dorothy Franklin

Dorothy J. Franklin 84 of Dixon, KY passed away on Sunday Oct. 11, 2015 at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson, KY. She was a Homemaker and member of Covenant Community Church in Madisonville, KY. She was preceded in death by a son Henry Earl Franklin. Survivors include her 3 daughters DeLois Ferguson of Evansville, IN; Martha Parrish and Sandy Turner both of Dixon, KY; 1 brother John Oran of Evansville, IN; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 14, 2015 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Dr. Michael Knight will officiate. Burial will be in Old Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden, KY. Visitation will be from 11am-2pm service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dorothy Franklin Memorial Fund c/o Townsend Funeral Home P.O.
