Donald Eugene Stone 74 of Poole, KY formerly of Dixon, KY died on Monday March 17, 2014 at Redbanks-Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Sebree, KY. He was a carpenter and had worked at the Earle C. Clement Job Corp. in Morganfield, KY. He was a member of Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church in Dixon, KY and a member of the Dixon Masonic Lodge #911 in Dixon, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents Veston Eugene and Erna Bell Hearin Stone, his son Don Jerome Stone and 2 sisters Louise Calabaro and Georgia Thornberry. Survivors include his wife of 54 years Ann Dacy Stone of Poole, KY; 1 son Mark B. Stone and his wife Mindy of Boxville, KY; 2 sisters Frances Lockridge of Clemson, NC and Jean Clay Barnes of Henderson, KY; 1 grandson Veston Eugene Stone; 3 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Thursday March 20, 2014 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Raymond Abbott and Rev. Selby Coomer will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Wednesday and from 8am until service time at the funeral home.
