Don Groves

Don Groves 62, of Sebree, KY passed away on Friday December 1^st, 2023 at Redbanks Nursing Home in Sebree, KY. Don was a Truck Driver for Brown and Son Trucking in Nortonville, KY before retirement. He was a member of the House of Prayer in Nortonville, KY. He was a Musician and a KY Colonel. Don was a member of the Thumb Pickers Association and was an accomplished piano player. He was the son of the late William and Mary Bell Groves. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Jimmy and Darrell Groves. Survivors include his wife of 32 years Deanna Glore Groves of Sebree, KY; 2 daughters Sarah Groves of Central City, KY and Alyssa Darnell of Sebree, KY; 1 son Phillip Groves of Sebree, KY; 3 sisters Sue Stanley of Graham, KY; Alice Durall of Greenville, KY and Brenda Capps of Bremen, KY; 1 granddaughter Cypress Mae Cardwell and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 9^th, 2023 at 1pm at House of Prayer in Nortonville, KY. Bro Duane Camplin will officiate.
