Carolyn Sue Blanford

Carolyn Sue Blanford 80, of Dixon KY passed away Saturday July 5, 2025 at Redbanks Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Sebree, KY. She was a member of Corydon General Baptist Church, a devoted mother and grandmother who loved being a housewife. Preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly McLachlan and a brother, Paul Glenn Writtenberry. She is survived by her husband Charles L. Blanford of Dixon, KY; 2 grand daughters Allie Carter and Rachel McLachlan both of Dixon, KY.; 2 great grandchildren Amelia Carter and Levi Mitchell both of Dixon, KY.; 5 sisters Glenda Moore of Henderson, KY., Linda Boster of Madisonville, KY., Janie Webb of Dixon, KY., Kathy Williams of Marion, KY. and Paula Tipton of Niagra, KY.; with several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 2 pm Saturday July 12, 2025 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Friends may visit from noon till service time at the funeral home.
