Carl Eugene Bleier

Carl E. Bleier 65, of St. Louis, MO passed away on Wednesday October 4^th, 2023 at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. Carl was retired, and has served as a soldier in the Salvation Army for 15 years. He was a loving father and grandfather, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Carl loved the Lord and he loved helping people in his community. He was a US Army Veteran. He was the son of the late William John and Johnnie Mae Bleier. He was preceded in death by a son Christopher Wynn Bleier. Survivors include his 4 daughters Melissa(Joe) Ecker of Madisonville, KY; Dana Bleier of Hecker, IL; Becky Bleier of St. Louis, MO and Cassie Duke of Collinsville, IL; 1 son William John Bleier of St. Louis, MO; 1 brother John Bleier of Henderson, KY; 7 grandchildren Mikayla-Jo, Rese, Nathaniel LCpl, Gabriella, Cheyenne, Caylee and Chloe; 1 great granddaughter Meadow and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 10^th, 2023 at 2pm at Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. Rev. Bill Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 11am until service time on Tuesday at the church. Townsend Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
