Bobby Joe Mundy 81, of Dixon passed away on Monday May 27, 2019 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. He was a retired Insurance Agent. He was a member of Dixon General Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. He also enjoyed talking on his Ham radio, his call sign was KA4PPV. Preceded in death by his parents Talmadge and Maude Evelyn Mundy, his step-mother Alice Green Mundy, sister Glenda, grandson Troy Stone and great granddaughter Adley Mundy. Survived by wife Virginia Mundy of Dixon, KY; 1 son Timothy (Sara) Mundy of Dixon, KY; 1 daughter Lana Simpson of Clay, KY; 3 half- brothers Terry, Perry and Michael Mundy all of Graham, KY; 6 grandchildren Jon, Mark and Devin Stone, Amber and T. J. Mundy and Heath Clark; 6 great grandchildren Sylas and Gabriella Stone, Braxton Langston, Arya Hollie, Wade and Lyndsey Clark. Graveside service will be held at Lee Cemetery in Greenville, KY on Friday May 31, 2019 at 11 AM. Bro. John Brumfiel will officiate.
