Benny Winstead

Benny Clay Winstead 84, of Dixon, KY died on Saturday March 15, 2014 at his home. He was a lifelong Farmer and a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. Survivors include his wife of 66 years Wallen Jobe Winstead of Dixon, KY; two sons Jerry Don Winstead of Dixon, KY; Robert Daniel Winstead of Slaughters, KY; one brother Jack Alan Winstead of Centennial, Colorado; his caretaker Michelle Goodwin;  7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; 3 nieces. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Kerry Smith and Rev. Ellis Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Monday and from 8am until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice 2410 S. Green St. Henderson, KY 42420.
