Basil Jones

Basil Wayne Jones 67, of Dixon, KY passed away on Tuesday January 22, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was of the General Baptist Faith and was retired from the State Highway Department of Transportation in Webster County. He was preceded in death by his dad Basil Jones. Survivors include his wife of 50 years Thelma Charleen Jones of Dixon, KY; his mother Bobbie Jean Hackney Jones of Madisonville, KY; 3 daughters Carla Drennan and Peggy Jones(Scott) both of Dixon, KY and Mary Jones of Dalton, KY; 2 brothers William David Jones Sr. and Douglas Carroll Jones both of Madisonville, KY; 5 grandchildren Anthony, Nick, Holly, Lexxi and Gavin; 2 great grandchildren Alivia and George; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 26, 2019 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Pastor William David Jones Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in King Cemetery in Liberty, KY.
