Anna Pearl Cummings

Anna Pearl Cummings 88, of Henderson, KY passed away on December 25^th, 2023 at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis, IL. She attended Fairview General Baptist Church in Bluff City, KY. Anna worked for the West Home for Girls in Henderson, KY for several years. She was an Avid UK fan, loved reading and watching TV. Anna loved spending time with her family, especially with her children and grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Lucille Winstead Griffin. She was preceded in death by the love of her life Dorris, 2 grandsons, 1 great grandson, 2 brothers, 2 son in laws and her mother in law. Survivors include her 2 daughters Brenda Kay Daniel of Robards, KY; Sherry Ann Bray of Metropolis, IL; 2 sons Glenndon Ray Cummings of Clay, KY and Terry Keith Cummings of Robards, KY; 1 sister Glenda Wilde of Arnold, MO; 1 special sister in law Barbara Ann Johnson of Henderson, KY and 1 sister in law Barbara Griffin of Arnold, MO; 1 brother in law Charlie Cummings of Henderson, KY; 11 grandchildren Johnny Ray(Layna), Nichole, Cassandra(Norman), Heather(Chris), Stephanie(Thomas), Glenn Jr.(Sandy), Mattea(Tristan), Molly(Tyler), Mary(Russell), Brian(Beth) and Kenzie; 25 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 4^th, 2024 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. David Stone will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY.
